Lost City of Z este un film bazat pe fapte reale, povestea exploratorului britanic Percy Harrison Fawcett, ce incerca sa gaseasca asa-numitul City of Z, in 1925, moment in care a disparut, impreuna cu intreaga sa echipa. In urmatorii 70 de ani, numerosi exploratori au incercat sa recreeze pasii lui Fawcett. Filmul este bazat pe cartea non-fiction scrisa de David Grann.
